Mikey Board’s first single is a classical storyteller. It’s about a magical moment at a traffic intersection. An eye contact with a girl, she smiles, he smiles. But then the traffic light goes green, and the driver pushes down the gas. But her smile stays with you. In “Traffic Light”, Jamaican singer Lexicon tells the story of that magical eye contact, and Producer Mikey Board wraps a warm melancholy electronic beat around it.
